Online Goals in the New Year

With the New Year just around the corner (everyone watching the ball drop tonight?) it's time to start thinking about our goals for all areas of our life.  Yesterday, I revealed my New Year's Resolutions.  Today I'd like to talk about my goals for my online work.

Gather.com:
     1.  To the best of my ability, return any comments on my work.
     2.  Earn another $100 in Omaha Steaks gift certificates this year.
     3.  Earn another $100 in other gift certificates this year.

Mturk.com:
     1.  Do at least one hit at least four times a week this year.
     2.  Earn at least $500 (a lofty goal, but if I do transcriptions I might make it.  This would help out with our vacation.) 

Other Online Goals:
     1.  Use my time wisely for what would benefit me the most.
     2.  Find another online site where I can earn money.

I am always looking for online money makers also. I have just recently gotten serious on Gather. Been here over a year and have not redeemed my points so that is a goal. Happy New Year.

I think you got pretty good goals there. Mine are to make as much as I can from every possible site and also use my time wisely, bec. not every site is worth of my time

Gosh I never really thought about online goals! LOL My sister and I talked about getting enough gift cards, between the two of us, to help take care of Christmas next year...so I guess that's a goal! :)

I too have talked with my sister about working toward gift cards for Christmas next year. Now with my wireless laptop hopefully that will be a little easier to accomplish.

I normally sell software online, but I am moving towards eBay in 2009, not selling stuff on there. I have done that and it was to much like hard work, but as an affiliate. So people find a item on my site and they buy it then I get a chunk.

I think I will be on gather more but I am sure it wont be able to pay the return that I can get elsewhere, although it is more fun..

wow! that goal for mturk is pretty tough, isn't it? you must get some pretty good rates on your work there. I haven't logged in for a while, I need to do that. I want to start doing more online to help with vacation money too.

you know the sad thing is, I don't watch the ball drop (or acorn if you're in Raleigh). Anyhow, my main goal on this site is just to be more active. As far as a online goal for me is to try to earn a little bit of money or gift cards, not sure how i am going to do this yet though.

Good luck with your goals! MTurk is really great, I also tried several transcriptions and got paid. With the gift card I bought the stuff I wanted from amazon. Currently making music & movie reviews for comparedby.us
