I found a really awesome way to dry my herbs this year.
Cutting, washing, drying and them placing them in a lightweight box and allowing them to slow cool dry in the refridgerator. they stay beautifully green.
So tonight I tried my hand at making my own herbed salt.

I got out my trusty Krup's grinder and using large crystal sea salt and herbs filled it to the metal edge inside...and gave it a whirl!

I used it on the chicken I have roasting for tonights supper.

It smells wonderful!
I must admit the first round of pics did not stay on the camera, so I took another round.

And I dried herbs the lazy way. I hung them upside down in the kitchen and left them there til they were dry ;)
TADA!!!!
No, but honestly Lou Anne, the process sounds easy and an economical way to use up odds and ends of herbs from the garden!
