Big Bed Night

When my first son was little (he'll be 17 in a month), we started "Big Bed Night".  We would rent a movie, make snacks and the 3 of us would crawl into our King  Size Bed and watch the movie.  We also let him spend the night with us.  Everyone looked forward to Big Bed Night.  We still did it when the younger 2 got old enough, they are 9 and 10 now.  I miss Big Bed night.  We just had to stop, or we'd need a bigger bed.  Now about once a month, usually on a Sat, and usually without the oldest, we will do almost the same thing, but we pull out the couch bed and then there's another couch, so the kids get into the bed and we hang out on the couch.  Not quite the same, but much more comfortable.

You found a way to keep it going. I used to do "girls night in" with my daughters. We would snuggle under a blanket on the couch, watch a movie and get 3 spoons and eat right out of the ice cream container!

Just for the fun of it, we did it again last night. The movie stunk, my youngest picked it out. But it was fun just the same.
