Wait! I need to add the dish towels.
I hope I don't have to explain to Andrea why I consider this a worthy submission to her "Sucks to be Me" group, but I'm fully prepared to do so if challenged.
I'm ashamed.
Aniko! We have the same distowels, I think! Dare I... could I... would I... drag out the camera and prove it?!
Perhaps. ;-)
Towel beauty is essential to the at home feeling for the American family.
Wholesale Towels, Robes - Bath Towels as low as $12.95/dz Hand Towels as low as $6.95/dz
Luxurious Bath Linens - Better Quality Bath Towels In Thirsty, Natural Fibers
Guest Towels - Huge selection of Guest Towels items.
Ina, we've been using the same bath towels since we were living in Jamaica, and that was a long time ago. Barren and lackluster doesn't begin to describe their condition. So this year, Santa decided that since "he" was stumped for ideas anyway, "he" might as well get some towels. "He" made the mistake of going into the first store and buying the pretty ones there, only to see only slightly less shiny ones for a quarter of the price in the next store. This particular Santa has always been uncharacteristically clueless when it comes to shopping, so "he" let off a few choice Hungarian phrases, counted "his" losses, and went about "his" business.

We're trying, as you can tell, Sharon. Next July the Fourth, we'll cover the place in red-white-and-blue plastic and break every state and city law regarding exploding things in your backyard. I can't promise we'll set the place on fire though.
Dave, "unfortunately" I can't see the ads. This is a mystery I haven't been able to solve, as I haven't installed any ad-blocking program. Also, if I run CCleaner, the ads come back for a short while, then disappear again. And this only happens on Gather, not any other site that I've seen. Sometimes I feel so ad-deprived I switch to IE to be able to see them...
I'm thinking of posting something appropriately ghastly, maybe axe murders or something, just to see what great deals there are on truncheons, flails, halberds and maces.
Indeed it should, Dannielle, but until I hear from Andrea regarding acceptance of this piece in the "Sucks to be Me" group, I'd better leave it there as another supporting detail.
As it turns out, the green dish towel on top is made of the same kind of material and has the same checked pattern as older (and by now much less presentable) beige ones we have. I only realized this when A. stared at it in horror as it hang on the rack, and exclaimed, "What did you do to that towel?! It's green!!!"
I could work on that, CC. The beach towels, in fact, are probably not all that clean.
I'd have to say yes.
ShamWow!® It's like a towel, a chamois, a sponge. Holds 20x its weight in liquid. You'll Say WOW Everytime!®
Aniko, usually I'll delete comments where I point out a goof (assuming I remember leaving it.) If I do that here, it will make everything confusing, though.
Perhaps you should add a photo of a baster -- that suction device used to drizzle juices over a roast? Or a vacuum cleaner. That would add suckiness
Somehow, I don't quite think Danielle's idea is quite what is meant by "It Sucks to be Me" ... now if the group was called "It sucks____ me" well you get the idea...
Aniko -- yeah. I don't have one of those things, either; I think only folks like Madame Donna keep them around.
