What might that book be and why was it even considered ?
Well I finished reading, by my absolute favorite celebrity, Goldie Hawn's A Lotus Grows in the Mud. When I had just finished the first chapter and realized I too, am not a quitter as Goldie reveals the true depth of perseverence from her own experiences helping me figure out my own true potential and what I should expect from myself, I was not able to put it down for long. I kept coming back to it and knowing alot of good would come from reading it. It was very enlightening and glad I picked it up . . .
I am now reading Stacy Horn's Unbelievable--about the running of the Parapsychology Department in and off the capus of Duke University between 1930 and 1980 by the famous scientist, dreamer, and paranormal researcher J.B. Rhine and his lovely wife Louisa. It says alot about near death experiences, value in the afterlife concept, and helping one see longevity because of an 'eros' idealogy rather than a thanatos one . . .
So you are reading what, by whom and because why ?
btw---Goldie Hawn and J.B. Rhine have been an inspiration to me in many venues of self-improvement and even though we are miles apart in both proximity and dimensions, I feel somehow that they sense their words of wisdom have helped shape me into the person I have grown to appreciate over the years. Its just a connection and as particular role-models I look up to, they are a blessing to the Hollywood and spirit worlds.

Please if you have read it, offer me some encouragement.
I am usually partial to nonfiction to feed my ravenous appetite for history, politics, etc. I recently read two contemporary celebrity memoirs: Danny Bonaduci's "Random Acts Of Badness" which is surprisingly good and refreshingly honest. He was the Danny Partridge kid. The other one is Artie Lange's (former MAD TV cast member and Howard Stern side kick) memoir. It is terrible in every way. An utter waste of paper and time. I can't even remember its title, thankfully.
I have buckled down and am now 160 pages into Edgar Sawtelle, and it is a good novel.
As for me and my book, The Likeness by Tana French. Why? Because I wanted to read her first book, In the Woods, but couldn't find it for cheap. I got The Likeness, hardcover, for $5.
