Natural Beauty of The Bahamas

Here are some pictures from my recent trip to Grand Bahamas, some of the natural beauty that I saw.....and there sure was a lot!

I wish our stay at the All-Inclusive resort would have been longer...it was wonderful to have everything free....

I beleive this is an orchid. It was growing wild on another tree

I played in the sand a bit. My husband loved this picture~

I loved the relaxed atmophere of the resort & would love to go there again - even if I do have to work!

Hi Priscilla - I'm on a very slow dialup but I will take the time to see your pictures - I think!!!
I may lose you but so far I love all of these - especially the hibiscus...I really want to plant more of them seeing how colorful these are!!! That's a Century Plant not a yucca - well, maybe a Bahama Yucca - lol...but the ones I grow don't look like that - ok I'm not a know it all - it's a nice succulent - anyway, love the name in the sand and all the beach pictures - so glad you had a great time - I know you were really looking forward to the trip and will cherish the memories for a long time to come! Those flowers look like white pikake flowers - very lovely! I love the bougainvilla too...You did capture the essence of the place very well - love the seaweed!!!! Salud

J.R. we don't have any Costa Rica trips planned for the coming year. Although there is going to be a Puerto Rico one - I hope I get to go on that one!

Marianne, I still love my camera! I just wish I could do better night shots, but I might need a tripod to help with that.

Mariana - Century Plants are Agave's - and yes you are right, I said that one above was a yucca, but it is an Agave!

Very nice photos! We've been to the Bahamas once, on a cruise, and it was soooo beautiful there! I'm thinking of saving up a bunch of money and taking hubby on a surprise retirement cruise to the Bahamas!!!!!!!!
