Here are some photos from our trip to Lake Tahoe.

We went to Lake Tahoe a few years ago and had a wonderful time. We had never been there before. It had snowed the week before, but the streets were all clear, so we did not have any problems getting around.

It was so pretty. We walked from our hotel down to the lake. The second picture above was as close as we could get to the lake since there was a fence as far as we could see and all the gates were locked.

There were lots of touristy types of shops. I love looking around in little shops like that. The pictures above are at the Gondola for the Heavenly Ski Resort. We do not ski, but we were able to buy special tickets to ride the Gondola just to see the sites.

It was very cold and very pretty up on the mountain. There were 2 stops where we could get off the gondola and look around. The second stop is where the skiers and snow boarders got off to go do their runs. Is was fun to watch them with all their gear.

Here are some up close pictures of the snow. It did snow a little while we were up there, which was really exciting since we live where it does not snow.

It was so pretty up there that we did not want to go back down. But it was getting to be late in the afternoon and we had to head back down the mountain before they closed the Gondola for the day.

I hope we can go to Lake Tahoe again some day. I would love to go again when it is wintery and I would love to go back in the summertime, too.
