Winding Down

Today was a good day. My son was going to take his driver's permit test, but we went to the wrong licensing place. He'll have to go on Monday, but the one we did go to was near the movie theater and we saw Seven Pounds, which we both really enjoyed. I'll put together a review tomorrow.

Then we had some pizza, and his friend came and picked us up. He dropped me off at home, and they went off and did other stuff. I suppose at 18, after spending 2-3 hours with Mom anything else is overkill.

I talked to my own mom who talked to my sister in Indiana-- my niece's mom, the one with the new baby. He's doing a little better. It will still take a little time, but he's moving in the right direction, and my niece got to sit with him a little.

I did some checking stuff on Gather and eHow. Commented, posted another "How to" article. I had a good earning day, still not completely where I want to be, but getting there. I have 4 days to make 34 cents, unless I don't, then I have a month. I'm keeping the pace I want to on Gather also.

I had a nap too, but I'm about ready to close the computer and read a little until I get sleepy again.

Tomorrow, if it isn't too icy I will try to hit the coffee shop with the laptop and work on the novel a little. Otherwise I will do that at home-- or maybe I'll work on it in both places. But I definitely want to make fiction a priority tomorrow. Life can be a little too real.
