One thing I forgot to mention for yesterday was - I passed by SO MANY houses decorated for the holiday- just beautiful! One house had a decoration that confused me for a bit. The letter L was highlighted in green lights. Around it was the red circle with a slash through it - like on the no parking signs... can you guess what it stood for???
Today I had my many veggie omelet... and coffee - I'd bought milk the other day!
I called and went to the mattress place -they'll deliver on Mon afternoon after the frame is set up. I looked around and wondered if they can maneuver the frame - so called in the afternoon - yes it comes in pieces so it will be able to be managed in a tight turn into the bedroom.
On the way back from the mattress place, I passed by Mission Center Mall - I checked out other furniture stores - they have beds 12" from the ground - NOT good - the one I b ought is 24" high (not counting the mattress). After looking for the Easy Spirit shoes - no they didn't have anything I wanted; I realized his is where my mother had gone to Oasis - a center with classes and activities for seniors. And there's also a Target - a lot easier to get to by public transit than the one that is closer by car.
After leaving Macy's I discovered a seafood buffet. OMG! Yes, it cost $20 with tax and tip, but the FOOD!!!! I had hot food - teriyaki chicken, veggie and shrimp tempura, lo mein... and cold food - sushi! Lots and lots of sushi - fish, shellfish, veggie, wild rice, various combinations, tofu, seaweed... on and on. You could pick as much ginger as you wanted. Then there was the dessert table. OH! There was a mango mouse cake - wonderful - and some dark chocolate cake - also amazing - fresh fruit included papaya. There were even mango and green tea ice creams.
