Christmas was a welcome surprise as we got a new addition to the family. She is rather small. Some say she is a dwarf. But I think names like that only tend to hurt. I prefer to call her by her name Anabell or bunny. Rather than a dwarf rabbit. So, do my kids.
She was orginally a rescue from the local animal shelter. A lady who worked there took her home for her daughter. Three years later her daughter no longer wanted to her. So, her father was looking for a new home for her. He begged and begged my husband to take her off his hands.
It took alot of convincing. Plus some bribery. Espically on my part to take another pet in. So, we asked if he could hold on to Anabell til Christmas. So, we can present her as a gift to my 8 year old daughter who has been begging for her very own pet for along time now.
Here is Anabell. Isn't she beautiful?

Of course, my miniature pinschers had to be nosey and check out to see what is in that box. They know something was in there. Max was the first one to go over and check to see what in the box.

I think the old trunk is cool to. Right now it just stores extra blanets and such.
I do think the bunny will be able to teach thost dogs a thing or two. I am sure Daisy won't mind her to much. It will be Max getting thumped on.
glad to see you r happy family
