The Great Pizza Eating Contest

After taking my exchange students to go cosmic mini golfing, we decided to go out for Pizza at a Pizza Buffet nearby. My exchange son, Marius, and our friend Lasse from Denmark, decided to have a pizza eating contest!

 

Marius from Germany and Lasse from Denmark competed to see who could eat the most pizza. Helene from Norway (not pictured), Maria from Norway (Not pictured), and Saskia from Germany watched the drama unfold.

Marius, Helene, Saskia, and Lasse all enjoyed their pizza very much.

Lasse looked like he was struggling to keep up with Marius in the contest. Maria got a case of the giggles watching the whole scene, and Saskia seemed to think they were both crazy!

Lasse finished with 12 piece of pizza, but Marius was still eating. He was the champion at 23 pieces of pizza, but wasn't done yet; he was also able to squeeze in an ice cream cone!

Those two boys had better be happy I wasn't there or I would have put them both to shame when it comes to eating pizza. I've been known to put away an entire party sheet pizza myself...along with a couple dozen wings, a big bag of chips, fries, a 2 liter of soda and then want dessert. I'm not a heavy guy, either...6'4...185. You should see me at an Oriental buffet...a plate of salad, 4 or 5 trips to the main tables and a plate full of desserts. I definitely get my money's worth when it comes to buffets.

Oh my gosh, eating all that pizza would make me sick. Although I do love pizza. They look like they are enjoying themselves. I love the pictures.
