Borders Takes Twilight by Storm

Have you seen the empire Borders has made Twilight into? With exclusive gear ranging from tee shirts to the actual books all the way to a new perfume due out in December, the store is selling a ridiculous amount of Twilight-y goodness (and also a large quantity of twilight junk). My local Borders is even carrying the soundtrack on VINYL. You know, for those Twerds who happen to have record players (or just want to frame the vinyl).

Look at all the stuff they're selling (and this isn't all... they have a few more items in my store that I couldn't find online).

 If you run out of things to buy your favourite Twilight fan, you can always get them the Borders Exclusive Twilight gift card, so they can get their own Twilight gifts, like the Complete Series Guide due out in February (if they can wait that long), or the Perfume coming out soon... or even Midnight Sun, if Stephenie Meyer ever decides she WILL publish it.

They have all sorts of Tee Shirts... some of the whole cast, some of Edward, or some of Edward and Bella. Have no fear; they have them in Men's sizes as well, for any male Twerds you know! They even have one featuring the Cullen Crest from the movie (and more that just say "twilight").

Naturally they have all of the audio books, if you're not in the mood to read the book for the thousandth time, but would prefer listening to it. They even have the box set, if you're willing to drop about $200.

They also have the entire book series, of course. They have a box set of all four books, and they even have 3 different paperback versions of the first book! (Not to mention the hardcovers of each book- first edition, special edition, and for the first book, I'm pretty sure there's a republished hardcover they did for the movie).

For Twerds reading it in Espanol, they have the Spanish versions of the novels, as well.

Because of the popularity of Twilight, many authors have decided to make their own guides to Twilight. Featured here is the Twilight Companion, which is an unauthorized guide to the series, and Stephanie Meyer's The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide, which has not been published yet. It's expected to have genealogies, maps, and extra information. There is another book which isn't pictured called A New Dawn and has other Young Adult author's takes on the movie; it's edited by Ellen Hopkins, of Crank fame.

If the soundtrack wasn't enough for you, you can also buy a copy of the Twilight movie score. I personally prefer the score to the soundtrack, actually.

If you want to make sure you pick up where you left off on one off the Twilight books, there are plenty of bookmarks to keep you satisfied... There is a full cast one with the cast on the front and the quote "When you can live forever, what do you live for?" on the back; it's the tagline for the movie. They also have a Bella and Edward bookmark that has the famous book quote, "And so the Lion fell in love with the Lamb." For Team Edward Twerds, they have an Edward bookmark that says, "Look after my heart, I've left it with you." (My question is: Where's the Jacob bookmark? Or is that going to come out with the second movie?)

If you are desperate to be a part of the Cullen family, have no fear. You can get official movie prop jewelry of the Cullen Crest. From the bracelet worn by Esme, to Alice's Choker, to Rosalie's Pendant, Edward's Wristcuff, and Emmet's backpack charm... you can have it all.

If you're a die-hard keychain addict/Twerd... you can get all sorts of keychains! They make some large ones that feature the apple, the lion, the lamb, and the word "Twilight."
