Pure Simplicity

Hearts primed and ready to be turned about
Up and down, shadows found, with hidden doubt
Sitting there watching, waiting, magic key
Singing, Away in the Manger, a bit off key

Solemn invocation, perfectly read
Does God really like this image we're fed
Shouldn't we be in His image instead
Love, charity, sincerity, Scriptures read

New person, vacationer or stranger
Observe new thread in pew, friend or danger
Pleasant conversation, sans political creed
Put that aside, another time, Faith's all you need
Debatable, give it a rest, just love, please

Nighttime fixation, colorful square box
Equation, couch potato, snacks are sought
Enveloped in textures, expected warmth
Somewhere many eyes, search night sky, freezing

Love calls, all deserving, Tiny Tim too
Socialism? Love has no label groomed
Pure simplicity, straight from smiling hearts
Worship with thankfulness, sing in parts
Let God inside and love, as dawning starts

Do unto, the following words show grace
Yourself blends in, humanities' race
Brothers, sisters, keepers, faith, a mission
God's message of love with vision
Caring and sharing, brothers and sisters, Shall we?
