No coupons in today's paper!

Part of my Sunday ritual is to compare the coupon insert to my Kroger ad and make my list for the week.  This week, there were NO coupons in my paper.  I can't believe it!  Luckily, the pantry and freezer are stocked, so I don't NEED to go to the store.  But, I'm still disappointed.  I'll miss that part of my day today.

They never put coupons in the Sunday paper the Sunday before Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter.

None in mine either
It's the weekend before a holiday. They don't put them in this weekend's paper. Some paper's will have a skimp amount of coupons, but most won't have any. It's also that way for Labor Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, and Easter.

When I used to get the paper and shopped more with coupons, I found that before a major holiday there were no coupons. I guess they figured we had enough to worry about or that many people were away from home and the paper would go to waste.

I was just commenting on how the last few Sunday papers that I got had the worst coupons. And there have been less than normal.
It never crossed my mind that they would skip them entirely!

I would l send you mine, but the newspaper stopped delivering to us about 4 days ago...at least they delivered longer than UPS. Even the US Post Office has stopped hiking in. :-( I HATE snow...we rarely have snow...and now they are saying it is going to be another week before it melts. The roads out of Portland are all closed---east and west. No trains. No planes. Chains required on city streets. I've really gotten into whining...sorry.

We don't get coupons in the papers the weekend before a holiday. The website Couponmom.com usually posts what coupons are going to be in Sunday's paper the Saturday before at 3 p.m. There were none listed for this weekend. Also, I checked the
P & G website and it said that they would have coupons in the paper next Sunday.
Yea, I noticed that too! I put my paper on the table with my scissors and coffee every Sunday morning before the kids wake up and today No coupons!! Maybe next week!!

Funny you mention it but one of the people I work with came in to the office today to check our papers and said they didn'y have any coupons. I guess that advertisers figure they've already discounted so deeply they needn't bother with coupons.
None in my paper either, I was dissapointed!

Every Sunday after church I sit and read the paper and clip coupons while the boys are napping. I HATE when I buy a paper and NO COUPONS! I then too make a list for the following weekend for the store!

Nope, right after a holiday, there never are any coupons....not in our Sunday papers, anyway. But, then, I don't use them....so it's not a big deal to me.
