Well...I got a little back from the Post Office today.

Well...all is not lost with the Post Office.  Remember my post when I got upset because I had already spent $52 on postage to send out my Gather packages and still had two left to send and couldn't, because I ran out of money?

Well...one package I decided not to send, because it costs 5 times to send what I actually paid for the gift.  It did not compute in my brain well and I could not justify doing it.  I wrote the member, told her of my plans for an alternative solution and she understood.

Then today...actually last night...I noticed where the Post Office over charged me.  They charged me for an extra gift that I did not send out.  So today, they gave me back almost $8.  Whoo Hoo!  Now when does the Post Office ever give back what they have taken?

Well they did for this chick.  LOL

I decided not to worry about the other gift.  I am going to think of something else to do.  I just had peace about letting things be the way they were.  I feel I did the best I could this year and let the Lord guide me in what to do.  I was a little bummed I couldn't get out my goody treat bags...that I wanted to get out.  Maybe I can do it for Valentine's day or something? Yeah... putting candy canes in Valentine bags.  That will be the first...I suppose.  Huh?

Anyway...I have so many things to share and some of it is hard to put into words.  Because it has to do with a couple of positives within the family.  Kind of like a Christmas miracle.  I guess when I get the right words...I will share them.

I am sure most of you are out and about getting your shopping done.  It has been awful quiet around here, which is unusual for our neck of the Gather woods.

I guess...I will go play Christmas music and look at my tree.  See ya!
