Did your kids get their Snow Day wishes today?
We got a call from the school district around 5:00 AM telling us there was not school today.
Thenk I went back to sleep then we got a call from my husband's work about a half hour later, telling employees not to come in until 10:00 due to the weather, and leaving it to people's discretion weather or not to come in today. That was pretty nice, but they work on computers so they can work at home if they need to.
Just as we are all snowed in our bulb in our family room television has gone off so we have no screen, the repair guy can not get here until Tuesday so we will be stuck all weekend and Monday without a television, that really stinks.
We are going to sneak out and see a movie tonight, it has not snowed for several hours and the roads should be pretty clean by now. My husband is going to take my 2 older kids to see Twilight, and the little guy and I are going to see the The Tale of Desperot, unless the roads are aweful then we will turn right around and come back, we have a theater that is only like 5 minutes from our house so we should be OK.

My daughter's school had a 2 hour delay on Wednesday but there was only rain today so she had to go to school!

My girls are out until the 15th of january. HUbby took the day off after watching a semi tractor trailer rig jack knife in the middle of the access road next to our apartment complex. I had already decided to work from home.
