Blagojevich is not going anywhere.
"I will fight, I will fight, I will fight." Gotta love this guys. He has some chutzpah or he lives in his own world.
"I have not done nothing wrong."
He quickly started with a clean denial and turned around and blame, you know who... THE MEDIA.
Who do you politicians blame when they are caught lying, cheating, stealing? When your campaign fails because you are incompetent, blame the media. Sarah Palin and McCain did it to perfection blaming the media every step in the way, particularly her, every time she was caught not knowing something.
Blago borrowed a simple trick from the playbook. He said the media was to blame here before asking the people who elected him to give him more time.
He quoted Kipling, wished people merry Xmas, and thanked people who supported him. The guy is not going anywhere. If he is, he is raising his bargaining power for a plea deal. That one is from Hillary Clinton's playbook. When it was mathematically impossible for her to win, she hanged around until she cut a deal.
Blago is just a politician being a politician. I don't know why they hate him so much. They all do what Blago was trying. Campaign donation in exchange of appointments? Are you kidding me? The minute you are about to make an appointment, the players or their supporters make donations, invite you for lunch and make sure you know who they support. The only problem here, as far as politicians are concerned, is that Blago himself was directing the auction.
Now, that the audaciousness of audacity.
