42 year old woman from Wassila, Alaska busted in a drug investigation. Not just any 42 year old. This one is Levi's mom. Remember young Levi?
Sherry L. Johnston was arrested Thursday at her home in an undercover drug investigation and charged with six felony counts of misconduct involving a controlled substance. The "Anchorage Daily News" reports that charges include "second-degree misconduct involving a controlled substance -- generally manufacturing or delivering drugs -- as well as fourth-degree misconduct involving controlled substances, or possession.
Johnston is the mother of 18-year-old Levi Johnston, who became the focus of media attention when Governor Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, announced their teenage daughter was pregnant and he was the father. Levi Johnston sat with the Palin family at the Republican National Convention in September when Sarah Palin accepted her party's nomination for vice president. Bristol Palin's baby boy is reportedly due Saturday.

This is not a reflection on Sarah Palin. Not at all. She did not pick this woman, her daughter did not even.
HOWEVER, with the guilt by association my fellow republicans love to play these days, I can hear the democrats laughing.
Sarah Palin is a major distraction for republicans. She can rally the base in RED states, she will cost us votes in any purple state. Forget blue states; don't even show up.
With distractions like this, although totally unfair to her, nobody will take her seriously.
