Chandler is so sad that Friday (tomorrow) is a snow day...

We didn't get any mail delivery today. Which stinks because I'm waiting on a package from Santa and this is one less business day for it to get here.  I'm still crossing my fingers that it arrives in time

School is closed for tomorrow here as well! Looks like we ended up with 2 extra Christmas vacation days.  It FINALLY stopped snowing here around 5pm and for that I'm so happy! :) At 11 AM, we had 23" of snow - I know now we have well over 3' of snow. I'll measure again in the morning!

Tomorrow was suppose to be his class holiday party.  They were all going to wear jammies to school, bring a stuffed animal and have a Polar Express Day.  They were going to have hot cocoa and popcorn and watch the Polar Express movie and just have a fun party day.

Chandler is sad that he doesn't get to have his party at school.  :(  I told him that he can wear his jammies all day tomorrow and we can have a movie day here at home!  That made him smile and he perked right up!

I know it won't be the same as his class party, but I'm sure he will have fun!  We will go play in the snow together as well and then of course have some hot chocolate with whip cream!

That is cool my niece's class is having Polar Express day tommorrow. She was down stairs earlier telling me about it. I am sorry that the snow is messing it up for Chandler.This must be a new thing for a lot of schools. She showed me the P.J's she is wearing in the morning. That is a good idea to let him watch it at home since school is closed.

It hasn't started snowing here yet, but we're still under a winter advisory. :( I really hope there's school tomorrow for Gilly's party. Raegan told me if there's no school, she'll make pancakes for breakfast so Gilly can still have a breakfast party.

I really hope there's school tomorrow, though. I don't want either of the kids to miss out on their parties.

I so wish we had snow here...it's way, way to warm....I can't handle 70+ degrees this close to Christmas.....I'm wearing shorts instead of a coat.

glad you mad him feel a little bit better. i know how they look foward to the school parties. mine are having theirs today and watching polar express as well. they've been all excited all week long.

That is too bad but I guess he can play more in the snow. Maybe you can have a Jammie party for him during break with a couple of close friends. I wonder what the students are going to do who could not take finals at colleges and how that will affect thier grades. I know merchants are not happy they lost a lot of sales the last couple of days and they are not doing too well today either.

My daughter is staying home from work again today and her kids are having their own "Christmas" party since they missed the school one. They decorated one of their bedrooms and are going to watch movies and have treats.
