My brother-in-law to the resuce! (Plus a Karma moment for a neighbor)

My brother-in-law has a plow on the front of one of is pick-ups and during the winter that's how he makes extra money.  Of course, he came by tonight to do ours for free.  My hubby is an electrician and hapes him with that, then in the winter he helps us with snow plowing.  It works very nicely!

When my borther-in-law was here plowing our drive-way out, I could see down the road where ANOTHER neighbor was stuck in the ditch!  A neighbor who DIDN'T Stop to help me!  I hate to say it but ... HA HA!  Serves him right!

 

I posted STUCK and my neighbors would NOT stop and HELP me! and want to thank you all for your kind words, it made me feel so much better!

When I was little, my dad had a snow plow, and he too earned extra money in the winter by clearing private roads. When everyone else had to stay home, because they could not get out of the house, my brother and I were stuck at school, as my dad had no problem getting there, even if he had to take the tractor.

Well, he got his! I would have gone over and sweetly asked if he needed help shoveling, explaining I had gotten some experience earlier that day when no one would help me. ;) I get so snarky when I'm pregnant! lol!

Did your BIL offer to get them out for a price?

My mom always warns me about karma. If you do believe in karma then it might have been wise to consider the fact that the neighbor happened to be stuck just as your inlaw came to the rescue for you. Maybe it was a sign that you were being given a chance to be the bigger person...
Though if you don't believe in karma what I have just said is a bunch of crap!!

Either way, I do believe that I would NOT have helped the neighbor that couldn't be bothered to stop for me.
