A controversial new cookbook has been inflaming the blogospere the last few weeks with it's focus on a particular all-natural ingredient. Entitled Natural Harvest, this cookbook by Paul "Fotie" Photenhauer has rocketed up the lulu.com sales charts and is Number 3 for December.
A link to the book's description on lulu. (Warning: Probably not safe for work). If you're feeling brave, preview the pages inside or read the reviews.
Photenhauer claims in his bio that this book is not a gag (please pardon the pun), and that his cookbook came about because of his passion for cooking and his willingness to experiment. I don't know how much of that is true and how much is hamming it up for his audience, but it does go to show how having just the right hook can sell any book.
Krystal Russell is the author of Horace the Tortoise and Lucas and His Long Loopy Laces, both coming soon from Tall Tails Publishing House.
