SHORT BREAD COOKIES

4 C. sifted flour

1 C. confectioner's sugar

1/2 C. cornstarch

1 lb. butter

1/8 tsp.salt

Cream butter until light, add other ingredients. Mix throughly. Roll into ball

put in waxed paper, refrigerate overnight. Form cookies. Bake at 275 for

40 minutes or until lightly brown on ungreased pan.

Hmmmm, this is different from the shortbread cookies we made about 2 weeks ago.....I think I like this recipe better, it sounds sweeter, more to my guys' liking.

Yum! I LOVE Shortbread cookies! I make a version that uses brown sugar to make it more butterscotch flavored. Happy Holidays!
