I started teaching Business Statistics and Data Analysis at a local private university in August and am really starting to get the hang of things. It is an accelerated program, so students graduate early - I have a different class each month. The disadvantage of this is that I have 4 hour long classes between 2-3 times a week, which is a long time period to keep the students' attention on statistics :)
This month I completely revamped the program and I think it really worked! I need to make a few changes to smooth out a couple bumps... but I feel so relieved that I finally have a syllabus that students are enjoying. Today I started adjusting some of my material and got so much accomplished.
Don't you just love those type of days? :) Now I can sit back and relax, as next month will be such much fun.
