It's dark out and your friend is driving.
You tell him that the bridge is out up ahead.
He says he doesn't believe that and will stick to his path.
You tell him that he will die if he doesn't change his path
And go a different direction.
He says that it's fine if you want to believe that
But he believes differently.
You tell him that you want to get out and take the other path
If he is going to stay on this path.
He slows down to a stop but keeps saying
That you are being silly and the bridge
Is surely just fine.
As you get out, you urge him again...
You are going to die if you stay on this path.
He laughs and says "we'll see"
Your heart is breaking because you love your friend
But you are not willing to share in his fate.
You tell him you will pray and he laughs harder.
The next day, you get word that his car went off
The end of the bridge, just as you said it would.

I learned a long time ago that the best way to make an impact is to not force, if a person does not want to accept what you believe religiously, that is fine, pray for them, however, you can't force a person to believe what you do.

It succeeds as a dramatic poem both ways. Good work, Kimberly.
They are on (true) guidance, from their Lord, and it is these who will prosper.
As to those who reject Faith, it is the same to them whether thou warn them or do not warn them; they will not believe.
Allah hath set a sea on their hearts and on their hearing, and on their eyes is a veil; great is the penalty they (incur). Al Baqarah 2:5-2:7
Just trying to build bridges of two different faiths.
God Bless and Have a Great Day! :-)
