Bought a Wii on Ebay!

I told myself I was not going to buy my daughter a WII for Christmas. She just simply doesn't need it.

But, guess what I just did? Yes, it got the better of me and I decided she needed one afterall.  All the stores are sold out so I went on Ebay. I have no idea what I'm looking for or buying, other than a WII.

I saw one and I put in a bid.  I got outbid, so I went higher, higher, and higher until the bidding was over.

So, I bought the WII, and I have no idea if it is the right one or if I need to buy anything else.

Here is what I bought. Does anyone know if I need to buy anything else to go with it?

Congrats on the Wii! That should be everything you need to get started! We finally did find a Wii game system at a store out of town, I couldn't believe it! Then, I got the Wii Fit on e-Bay awhile back........yes, they are very, very hot items! The games are very expensive, though!

that is just your basic wii bundle that is usually sold in stores. the wii sports comes with the consol . . . it's pretty fun. this is great to start off with. if you think she will be wanting to play with her friends, you might want to pick up another nunchuk and remote control so she can play doubles. the package retails for $250, so i'm hoping you didn't get conned on ebay. too many folks are jacking up the cost of the wii on there since it's a hot item. also, the regular batteries don't hold a charge very long (especially if she plays with it a lot) so it might benefit you to invest in rechargeable batteries and the wii remote charger.

If you are going to be playing anything 2 player, go out and buy Wii Play (it is another 11 games on one disk and a controller) It is only $10 more than buying a controller alone. Also, to box against anyone, you will need another nunchuck
If it's brand new, and comes with what it is supposed to come with, she'll have 1 controller and 1 game to start her off with.
I agree with Karen- Wii Play is a good game for group play, and comes with the controller. It's $59? But like Karen said, it's $10 more than buying the controller alone, so you may as well get a cheap game with it. ;)
