A Quick Update~

Well, tonight is the first night I have been able to have time to log-onto the internet & have the WEP code to do so.

Just a short update.

Bahamas was wonderful! Wish we could have stayed longer at the All-Inclusive Resort we were at - Viva Wyndham.

Boats in choppy waters + Priscilla = a sick Priscilla

We took a boat to Grand Bahamas both ways. On the return it was so choppy. I ended up throwing up in the van on the way back to Orlando.

Went to Magic Kingdom yesterday, had a blast & even got my picture taken with Mickey.

Today has been spent at the hospital all day. For this trip I am a PCA (personal care attendant) for 1 travelers. So I only had to take care of 1 travelers. Also called a 1 to 1. She wasn't feeling good this morning & was having bathroom issues. Due to her age (70's) and the abrupt change in bathroom events...we elected to take her to the hospital. I was there from this morning & arrived back at the company condo around 9:30pm tonight. They kept my traveler overnight, she may end up having to stay a few days.

So I will most likely be staying an extra day here in Orlando, but I'm sure it will be in the hospital. I don't want to leave her alone there much as she is a vulnerable adult & does not understand a whole lot of what is going on.

So, that is the quick update for now. Will be posting more for sure in the next few days!

Thanks Mariana. I hate for her to be alone even now, but there in no sense in sitting in a hospital watching someone sleep - which reminds me, I need to get to bed myself!

No I sure didn't William! We had a very relaxing time in the Bahamas. Stayed at the resort & did fun stuff there (tennis, dance lessons, evening shows they put on, etc....ate alot!), and we went into Port Lucaya for a few hours of shopping as well.

Glad you had a nice time and hopefully good weather. I know how you feel on the shuttle boat rides. I get the same way when the foot seas are above normal. Hope all goes well for your care person.

Well today is the day we were all supposed to go home, but my traveler is still in the hospital, so we will be staying 1 more day....

What a downer to get sea sick aboard ship and to carry it with you to Orlando. I don't think I understand though about your sick traveler? Did you travel with him/her to the Bahamas and Disney World and he/she got so ill he/she had to be hospitalized?

Sounds like you have been a busy lady....................Mickey, choppy waters, throwing up, an elderly lady in the hospital..........your life is way more exciting than mine. Just home today with toddlers.
