Guess who just dropped by...

For those of you who read my earlier post the landlord ironically just dropped by to retrieve the rent check from us. Ha, did she have another thing coming!

I told her the letter we sent was still at the post office for her to pick up and that I expected them to address the issues we discussed in the letter.

She was all surprised and confused about it all... Yeah whatever lady just take care of our flooding basement and the mold okay?

What a joke, it is also quite funny that she stopped by the very day I am ranting about their lack of concern about all this.

AARRGGHH!!!!! That's the problem with renting...landlords! We should all give our landlords a bottle of tranquilizers for Christmas!

I understand Lina. We too have a landlord from he!! that I have written about on here many many times. Crappy landlords are really good about acting like that when they are in the wrong.....and know it! I hope this all gets worked out for you. Be very very careful in there if you do have a mold issue. Maybe we have the same landlord!

Hopefully they'll do something! Give them 10 days to respond to the issue, if they don't... call the building inspector on them!

That is fustrating...I'd be making calls to them everyday to fix the flooding basement and mold. We've been landlords for years and always addressed things like this immediatly.

My sister is a landlady, ans is very diligent in seeing to difficulties. She gets the renters from hell, quite often, and is truly ready and thankful when they leave.

I wish the renters from hell could always end up with the landlords, and landladies from hell, and vice versa.

You may want to put your rent into a separate escrow account if you are going to withhold paying it due to the landlord's failure to maintain the premises in a habitable condition.
