I just uploaded about fifty new Penang photos. Most are of everyday life. There are a few architecture and scenery shots too. But the majority are of markets, people and foods.
My favorites from the group?
I like the Hindhu Temple. Especially because it's about 200 meters from the Mosque. You wouldn't find a mosque that close to a church in America. Not to mention there is a Buddhist Temple just down the road and a church around the corner.
Of course, Penang Kitty has his moment of glory.
The jellied fruits are pretty cool too.
And so is the movie theater showing Bollywood flicks.

Penang is a great place! I went there in 1967 on R&R from Viet Nam. Lived & worked there later on when I was with WHO. Your pix have brought back some memories...! Thannnxxz!
Alas, I am glad to hear that Americans in Atlanta and Tampa believe in freedom of religion. That's a good thing.

Might you care to share why you persist in being so insulting and childish?
It's is not uncommon for mosque, synagogues, Buddhist prayer centers, and churches being across the street or on the same block. There are plenty that are not close to each other too.
