Yes! We had our date night. My husband and I had a much needed date night. The kids were sleeping at friends houses and my hubby and I went to Houlihans for dinner. We had a really good time. We sat in the bar and had a drink while we waited for a table. The dinner was just okay, but it was nice to be alone for once! Afterward, we went Christmas shopping for an hour or so, then hit a local bar for a few drinks.
We were able to sleep in, then got to talk, without interruption, then went Christmas shopping for a couple of hours. We got the kids around 2, a couple of their friends came over, then we watched Bolt to end the night out.
It was a great night, and a great day. We really needed to reconnect, as things just have not been right lately.
