I did it. I made it through my first semester of college. It was a bit challenging at times and there were times I wanted to drop a class or two but I held on and boy am I glad.
I just checked my grades for this semester and I did awesome. I was quite excited to see that I had made an A in all 4 of my classes. Whoohoo!! I'm stoked. I couldn't be happier at this present moment.
Plus, today I applied for a job and have an interview on Wednesday morning. It would be overnight (11pm-7am) so that my hubby can be home to take care of little missy. I'm hoping I get it cause it will help me in pursuing my career in the medical field.
If its meant to be I will get the job if its not then I will continue to look around and see what is open.

My mom worked 11-7 from the time I was in second or third grade (she still works that shift). It worked out really well for everyone. She slept while we were at school, so she was able to help us get off to school, and up again when we got home from school. She would take a nap in the evening , and be back up to get us in bed.
Good luck on the job. It is a great idea to try to get something that gets your foot in the door in your desired field.
Merry Christmas!
Hope your job interview goes well!
Good luck with your interview :)
I will know on Monday if I get the job or not.
Thanks everyone.
