I'm flippin' FROZEN...

This morning our gate was frozen shut and so were the doors on my pickup!  Luckily I have an automatic start and can start the pickup from inside my warm house. :)  We turned on the heater in our pump house to help keep the water from freezing.

Right now, the Northern Winds are what's making this weather SO bad right now, they are brutal!

Our December monthly average is:

Wow, Bridget that sure is cold! I don't know how you handle the cold, but I sure hope you and the kids are able to stay warm.

You're figurativly frozen. If you were literally frozen, you wouldn't be alive, since your core body temp would have to reach 32 degrees, and you die of hypothermia at a much higher temp. ;)

It's bitter cold here, too. I am not loving it!

Our high for today was supposed to be -16. Our low is -28.

I had to fight with my back screen door to get it open today to let the dogs out.

That is sooo cold! It's raining here and I think it's cold at 48 degrees! Our average cold day is 60 - 65.

IT MUST HAVE WARMED UP HERE DURING THE NIGHT AND MELTED THE SNOW, THEN FROZE THE WATER AND HAD A THIN LAYER OF ICE THAT THE DOG BROKE AND DRANK SOME WATER, GOT THEIR FEET WET AND GOT FOOT PRINTS ONE THE BED SPREAD. NOW IT IS TRYING TO SNOW.

I guess Mother Nature is bipolar, because we went from freezing this weekend, to 58 degrees this morning when I pulled into work, to 39 when I got home from class tonight. We're supposed to have snow and freezing rain tonight. YAY! Not.
