In defense of other people's rights

Regardless of how I feel about a person as a person, regardless of what  I may say to that person, whether I like him or her, or dislike them, they have the right to believe what they want as a religion, or in this case  NOT believe.

Not everyone who who does celebrate Christmas  believes in the Birth of Christs, and there are those who live in this Great country that we live in that don't celebrate Christmas at all.

Now the last time I checked the constitution grants freedom to religion, and I would believe that means that means a person can choose NOT to believe in religion as well, if we were all the same we would be pretty boring people.

Yes the Bible talks about sharing your beliefs, but if a person doesn't want to hear it, and makes it know they have no desire to hear about God or another religion, don't force it, don't push it.

That is their choice, but it is also your choice.

I wouldn't sit there and tell these people I would pray for them either, I think no matter what you should accept each other for who they are, the way they are.

No that doesn't mean you have to agree with them, or sell out what you believe to make them happy, it means accept them for who they are, the way they are.  And should you decide to pray for them, just pray for them and don't make an announcement about it.

These people have rights as well, and not celebrating Christmas is one of their rights if they choose.

God is about more than converting souls, and putting someone down for what they do or do not believe.
