I'm going on a date tonight!!!

Yes, my gather friends.  I am going on a date tonight!  I am so excited!  I can't wait.  Only 3 more hours to wait.  Have to hop in the shower soon, do my hair and makeup.  The kids are being dropped off at their friends in an hour!  I know just what I am wearing, and I bought a new pair of boots today.  (Seems that none of my boys wanted a pair of ladies size 8 boots for Christmas, so I had to treat myself.  go figure)

So in a little more than 3 hours I will be on a date with the love of my life.  Yep.  My husband!

Thanks!! We haven't been out alone in such a long time. The best part is HE suggested it! Man, I love my husband, still after 26, very clost to 27 years!

WE had a great time!!! We went to dinner, then a little Christmas shopping, then hit a bar for a few drinks before we went home. We really had a much needed great time.
