(Your mother is beautiful.)
Yes, she was a beautiful woman and not just in looks....She was beautiful through and through and one of the kindest people I have ever known.
My son was in the hospital here with pneumonia in both lungs so I was not able to fly to NC this week as I would have wanted so I'm very glad I did get to spend four months with her earlier this year.
She will be missed very much by her 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Bob, I remember when your mom died. She was also a beautiful woman.
Thank you!
Sandy, that is so nice of you to say. I feel blessed that I drew her name in the lottery of life.
Liz, indeed she was. What a beautiful thing to say! Thank you.
Tonia, thank you. The hugs are much appreciated.
Hope this finds your son feeling better also.
I pray your grief is short and your memories endless.
Anthony is feeling better but still weak. It will take time.
Thank you, Bobbi.
And best wishes for Anthony's healing.
Anthony will heal slowly but he is on the mend. Thank you!
I hope you save her stories and preserve them for posterity.
My sincere condolences and best wishes in your time of loss.
Thank you, Rachel.
Donna, how nice of you to say so....Her eyes were light brown/hazel....mine are darker brown, but everyone says I do look a lot like her....maybe its just that we shared a middle name... ;-) ...although in her later years she looked more like her own mom and I don't look anything like my grandmother!!!
But I thank you!
letter to a friend about losing a loved one
It was easy doing things for her because she appreciated them so much!
Your mom had to have also been as beautiful as you are.
Thank you, Debbie, Donna and Priscilla. The hugs are appreciated.
Loss is devastating at any time of the year, but especially so in the midst of the holidays. The fact that she was such a loving mother to you is a wonderful blessing and will hopefully enable your memories of her to be of special comfort to you now and always. She will always remain alive in your heart, Sonia.
I lost my dad a long time ago and the pain sometimes can be as fresh as when it happened..... I was 13 and all my life I felt cheated....
- so yes, this time of year makes me remember mama but we grew very close and I know that she's always there for me - I know that I can concentrate on her and her voice and feel very close to her. Your mama will always be with you. Salud
