What are your plans for weekend?

Another weekend is here. Is it only me, or others had the same feeling,, that closer we are to Christmas the days fly faster? I sure feel like that.

I was talking last week about getting tree and we still don't have it. Well, I guess there is still time for that, but I guess it won't be this weekend either, since my hubby is gone. He is coming back Sunday night and Thusday morning we' re leaving to Jacksonville as he has his 4 days off. It will be nice, but it is also sad, that he doesn't have time off for Christmas. Actually he does, he just have to be on the phone and he have to be within 100miles for emergency, so that's why we cannot go see his family.

There is Christmas parade today near us and I am planning to go with my sister in-law. Hopefully weather will be nice. We wanted go yesterday, but it was raining all day. It would be nice to go , as I love christmas markets and anything related to christmas. I used to go to christmas market every year, when I was living in europe.

Tomorrow,  I was thinking about starting to bake some cookies. I got finally my kitchen aid mixer and cannot wait to use it.

I'm going back home (christmas break) this afternoon, so I'll be unpacking stuff and checking for any new grades every few hours lol.

I have a student of mine coming to stay for the weekend. I am very excited he is from Denmark. My son just learns so much. He was debating with someone last night over Germany and Norway. What 8 year old knows these countries are even there.

I'm working this weekend. And I might go out for wings and beer with a friend after work, either tonight or tomorrow night. Otherwise, I really have no plans. Working 10-hour shifts makes any other plans pretty difficult.

That sounds like fun, to go to a Christmas parade. Our city is having one next week, but I really don't want to get caught in the traffic. Why they picked the place they chose I'll never understand. : ) Tomorrow I'm going to see my sister and brother-in-law. They are in a dinner theater production at their church, and she invited us to go. We live three hours away, but we decided to go anyway. My dad will be performing a wedding ceremony so he can't be there. I think we'll have a good time.

We are expecting a big snowstorm tonight. Tomorrow I have a funeral to attend in the morning and then I'm taking 2 of my grandkids to a performance of "Madeline's Christmas."

We are moving our "Stuff" out of the warehouse we can no longer afford and trying to stuff it in my garage. It looks like I will be tossing a bunch. The Dumpter Divers will have a treat.

Going to get our tree tomorrow and decorate it. Also be doing some baking, finally. And hopefully some christmas shopping with my daughter tonight.

Hey there! My sister and her kids (3 and 1.5 years old) are coming up....we are going to see the lights on the lake on one night - I know my sister wants to do some shopping...and just hang out! :-)!

Work on even more Christmas cards/letters....hope to finish them this weekend! Finish wrapping some gifts that have to be mailed out on Monday....we bought an inflatable Nativity for outdoors, and sure hope we can get it up outside, as well as our red/green garlands...it's supposed to be 45 degrees tomorrow....woohoooo! May start Christmas goodie baking, go grocery shopping, and more cleaning probably!

Saturday, I'll visit my mom and possibly do some shopping. Sunday, we're visiting with friends and maybe watch a Christmas movie. I also hope to address my Christmas cards and wrap some gifts!

Today we went to Thousand Oaks, so I could work on BzzAgent. It was fun shopping with a $25 Gift Card and now have a gift for Bobby's Mother (Bobby is my daughters boyfriend) that I'm sure she will love.
