Simple pimple, rather little but bright
Any other day okay, why oh why
Gala night spectacular, ballroom dance
Boy or girl dreaming splendid chance
Emotions, quite porous, tonight touch hands
Before any symphony feeds the scene
Here's Sue's story, rather little but bright
Gala day, oh no! of such fright
Polite Sue of course used no expletive
Simple pimple, drastic measures, porous daylight
Lamentations, store bought sackcloth, mirrored
Beyond farthest pale of Sue's soul
Dainty she, pimple certainly agreed
One might say it faint, but not to Suzy
Lotions, blended concoctions, creamy solutions
Peachy complexion, beau arrives, Sue smiles
Pink corsage, careful hands attach
Perfection seemed in store, for Sue, but vexed
Polite young man, what's that on your face?, grins
Persnickety personality, black eye Sue gives him
Sue's morale boosted, but she danced alone
Moral of ages, timely tomes
Philosophy generously wrinkled
Simple pimple etiquette, colored rose
Shines like Rudolph's nose
Of course it's a distraction
Sue packed a punch, simple pimple, not so gentle

Clever verse!
Those persnickety pimples do pop
up at the least opportune times.

Most of life, we do to ourselves.
Sad but true.
Hmmmm, wonder if anyone has ever sprayed them with bug spray ... maybe they would run right off the face.
Poor Sue.
I use the word persnickety a lot in conversation. I guess that's because it might describe me!
