OMG noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo that stuff is a recipe for disaster i think the tinsel and vacuum cleaner companies are in buisness togeather.TINSEL WILL KILL YOUR VACCUM ..LOL

No two reasons:

1. It gets stuck in the vacuum cleaner rollers/

2. My dog will eat it and I am not doing THAT again!!

we don't for a few reasons: 1) we have young children, 2)we have a cat, 3)it is messy, and 4)I have not seen it sold anywhere around here

Tinsel is too messy! No matter how well you think you have cleaned it up, you still find it somewhere months later.

nope, we have cats. My mom puts some on her tree. the tinsel garland, is less messy.

not since my puppy ate some 2 years ago. what a mess and it was expensive ta boot. the vet bill was more than i spent on christmas for my family that year!

My mother loves the stuff, so even with the cats it normally went on the top 3/4 of the tree. This year I'm thinking about just using the tinsile garland.

I like tinsel but we usually do some sort of garland, either the same material as tinsel or beads. The dogs seem to leave that garland alone.

We always had tinsel on our tree when I was little. My brother and I loved it. My mom doesn't put it on now that my brother and I are grown up. I think she just like playing in it with us and we always loved putting it on the tree.
