that's great! I used to really enjoy mystery shopping...then as the girls got older they had no desire to go with me and they were my memory...I don't do it anymore.

Congrats! I'm a big fan of mystery shopping but have gotten to where I do primarily one type of shop for one company - it's for my local grocery store so I have to go there anyway! I also do some for oil changes so I get reimbursed for keeping up on those!

Did you end up paying for some of them? They keep sending me ones I can do but I have to pay for them, I was like what the heck?

I've never paid anything Ang - i did buy something but i'm supposed to be reimbursed for more of the price. It said i should receive payment is 30 - 35 days so we'll see.

I really liked doing mystery shopping, and did quite a few shops while I was pregnant with my son, and while he was really small. Then we moved out to the middle of nowhere, and it's just not worth it anymore.

in a true mystery shopper program you aren't supposed to pay for the jobs. You might have to buy something but you're supposed to be reimbursed. I signed up for one program and I haven't done but one job so far.

I did some a long time ago, had to go to the post office and ship an envelope the company had mailed to me, then report on the service and stuff. Got paid around $10 each time, wasn't bad.
