Since the gay community wants to try to impact our already struggling economy by not spending and not showing up for work, I think the rest of us should make our point by spending a little more tomorrow and sending a message to the gay community that "A Day Without A Gay" is just fine with us since they don't care about anyone but themselves!
I'll say it again, these are selfish people who have little or no regard for anyone but getting their own way. If they had done these types of things before the election, I think Prop 8 would have passed in a landslide!

Making "statements" out of disregard for others doesn't help any of us.
And Jody, firing a person for WHO THEY ARE should be illegal. I'm glad that you've publicly advocated that corporations take illegal actions. I'm certain your status as an ex-con forced you to go into business for yourself as an electrician, instead of working for someone else and retaining your union membership. Are your customers aware of your criminal record? Maybe they should be informed....
