Decorating the Christmas Tree 2008

This year Maddie had lots of fun helping decorate the tree, and was much more into it than last year!  You can see last years article about putting up the tree here:

She wanted to help put the branches on, and then she was a big helper putting on all of the ornaments.  Of course she also likes to take them back off now and then to play with for awhile before returning them to the tree :)


We normally put the tree up the day after Thanksgiving, but since this year we had Davids sister and fiance visiting Thur-Sat and then Davids father visiting Sat-Tuesday we figured we should do the tree before everyone came to visit.  Plus David had the whole week of Thanksgiving off of work, since he works for his school. 
So we put the tree up on the Monday before THanksgiving:

Then I think Maddie had even more fun after that, just playing in the empty box, lol:



And as soon as the tree was up kitty was happy to have a new place to hide/play:



We did not decorate though untill Wednesday:
