Holy Toast!

The Virgin Mary has appeared on the bottom of a baking pan (a rather shabby one), the side of a decrepit building, on a rock in Norfolk, and on a pebble in Australia. Jesus made an appearance on a greasy doggy door, a tortilla, fish sticks, a slice of cinnamon toast, and (pardon the pun) God only knows what all.

So, everyday, when my toast pops up, I examine it carefully. I look hopefully for the outlines of the Virgin Mary or the face of Jesus. I have already calculated the potential windfall I will recieve by selling my gluten-free manifestation on Ebay.

$28,000 was paid for the Toast of Jesus.
$20,000 was offered for the Miracle Tortilla.
$11,300 was paid for the Virgin of Guadalupe omlette
Reclamation costs for the Virgin of the Underpass were calculated as exceeding $80,000.



I couldn't find out what happened to the Weeping Christ pumpernickel roll that appeared in Russia. But Russians are pretty practical so they probably ate it with a big bowl of borscht.

I figure a Virgin Mary of Toast could net as much as $15,000 even if the market is getting a bit saturated.

I  have NOT been able to quantify the return on investment on the type of bread. White or wheat?
