Give to others a nominate those in need via Gather!

I am just loving the idea of this awesome opportunity. Gather is giving help to those in need and you can even get in the giving spirit and help fellow Gather members by donating some points to the cause. It is called "Secret Santa" and if you haven't read up on it you need to!

It was just launched in the afternoon of 12/8. I have already nominated someone and I also want to donate to the cause.

With the poor economic state many Gatherers are in need, get in the holiday spirit and give to someone. Now is the time to help others.

I nominated 2 people that I know could really use the help this year, and I donated as much as I could (only $5, but I just cashed out recently).

I agree with Teresa too -- too many people are in need but don't ever say anything.

I knew exactly who I was going to nominate the instant I saw this and it made me so happy that Gather is giving us the opportunity to do this!
Yes, here too. I sent a nomination, also someone who few know is in need, and a donation last night. Now I don't have two points to rub together, lol, but it will build up and I'll be right back there again.
