This took awhile to do, but hopefully it can help some people. You can read the full list on a post at my blog:
You already know at least one website (Gather), but I'm linking this on other websites I write with as well--it's just easier to give somebody one link as opposed to dozens if they ask. I'll add more sites as I find them--I usually try things out instead of just posting them without knowing for sure.
Take care and hope you have a great night!

To answer the Bob's comment below, I'm not aware of any sites specific for music distribution at this time. They're probably out there, but I'm a novice at keyboard and vocals to the point I wouldn't want to end up refunding anything I sold, lol. If anybody knows of a good one, feel free to post it for other people.
I think Lulu.com may have a way of doing it, but I've never tried it. The closest thing I know that's music related is a site called Swagbucks, and it's mainly where you can win stuff like music store gift cards, band merchandise left over from concerts, and a few other things. You may also want to look into trying some combination of Blogger and YouTube--maybe find some way of editing some graphics over the mp3 of the song if you didn't want to do a full-blown music video.
Sorry I can't be of more help--that's the only approaches I can think of that might work.

Thanks for sharing.
I do several of those, and then also Inboxdollars, Hits4pay, MyView (survey site, but it has been a bit slow on surveys lately)
I have been a member of Mypoints for 5yrs now and have redeemed lots of gcs from them.
