Obama's plan to revive the economy is to create the largest public works construction program since the inception of the interstate highway program. He wants to repair roads and bridges, update schools, and expand broadband.
Do you think this will help our struggling economy? I know that having the government hire a lot of people is expensive, but those people will no longer use unemployment and will start paying taxes and spending money.
I'm hoping they invest a lot in green technology because we hope to build a green house in a few years and that would bring the cost down for us.
What do you think?

Help some maybe.
Line the pockets of his cronies - YES!
If he gets his way, it will be one of the worst cases of exceedingly over
priced pork barrel projects this country has seen in at least fifty years.
The problem with "stimulus checks" is that there is little lasting results. Most people put it into savings or use it to pay off bills. I don't think many people actually put the money back into the economy.
