This evening, I experienced some of what I talked about in the article I posted last night. I ran into some friends at the grocery store and they were planning to take a cab so, since we live in the same building, I decided to ride with them. Boy was that a wrong decision!
As I explained last night, drivers choose which rides they take. And, drivers hate grocery runs because there is no money in it for the most part. My friend called 3 different cab companies that never did get us a cab after 35 or 40 minutes of waiting. Fortunately, a cab drove up into the lot out of the blue and we convinced him to take us.
I had to sit in front and that would have been fine but the driver stunk. I guess he doesn't believe in deodorant. All I know is that the BO was bad! I was so glad to get home.
Of course, that had some drawbacks as well because when I checked on the kittens in the carrier, I discovered that they had knocked over their food and water and the carrier was a mess. I didn't discover this until I sat down to eat my dinner so my next thing to do in a few minutes is to clean up the carrier. They are both out on the bed playing right now and having a great time.
I hope you guys have all had a great day. I'm going to clean up the kittens' carrier and relax a bit before going to bed.
