An Easy, Cheap Christmas Tree Garland

My BFF did this for her huge live Christmas tree - she used "packing peanuts" and strung them as if they were popcorn.  The effect was amazing and unlike real popcorn, can be saved from year to year.  I thought it quite clever and wanted to share the idea.

Maybe I should do this. After ordering a ton from Amazon and Target on Black Friday, I have enough packing peanuts to actually get lost in. I'll have to try it and see how it looks. Thaks for the idea!

I was amazed when I actually touched the strung "popcorn" and realized what it really was. She's pretty clever.

Pretty cool. I hope she used the styrofoam ones, not the one's made from Rice Flour that disintegrate when exposed to moisture.
