Greetings from across the sea,
Yesterday I felt blessed and grateful to be dressed in one of the most elegant attires a woman can wear: A SARI sent to me as a love gift by my dear friend from India, Minakshi Watts. Lately I do not attend big parties but yesterday it was one of those occasions when I simply couldn't say no.
The soft silk material made me feel like one of the Maharaja's daughters!
I also felt like a seagull flying across the ocean, sharing a message of PEACE with all and for all. It was a very strong feeling!
The colour embraced me as the sea does and I want to thank MINNIE for this gift which I will treasure for many years to come.
Today I feel blessed and grateful for the ability to sit here, right now, fortunate enough to have a computer and internet to connect with others in the world.
We all go through big shifts lately and I feel we are being asked to purify and release much during this time, and so much of it really gets down to 'mind' - what we have been taught to think and believe. Things in the physical are really just 'tools' used by the Divine to invite us to surrender to Grace and remember who we really are as Children of the Divine - expressions of Divine Love appearing in unique 'voices' and 'flavors' as each of us.
As we approach the winter solstice which is a time of rebirth in many cultures, my therapeutic message for you all is:
ELPIDA
AGAPE
FOS
This means:
HOPE
LOVE
LIGHT
Hoping you're well and finding reason to smile and feel joy and contentment.
I HAVE DELETED THE OTHER PHOTO AS IT WAS " TOO BRIGHT" FOR SUCH A BLACK XMAS FOR MY COUNTRY. WE ARE GOING THROUGH VERY DIFFICULT TIMES RIGHT NOW, BUT TIMES WHEN CHANGES NEED TO BE MADE BECAUSE WE ARE GUILTY FOR THE LEGACY WE LEAVE TO OUR CHILDREN AND THE FUTURE GENERATIONS TO COME.
WE SHOULD GO BACK TO LOVE AND LEAVE THE GREED BEHIND.

I knew it was marinela....but at the time I was writing the comment I was on skype with both magi and marinela and we were talking about you. Were your ears burning? Anyhow, I inadvertently addressed the comment to Minnie....but not to fear, I deleted that comment once I got the ping from you. Once again it just proves the fact I can't do two things at once. Lol!
Thank you so much for the beautiful gift. I will wear the other SARI for the party we will have on Xmas day at home, surrounded by family and friends. I don't know how a Chashmiri Lady looks but I felt joy and happiness in my heart and also brought happiness to someone else's heart. At this party where there were more than 60 people, a lady came and hugged me with tears in her eyes. She is around 70 of age and she said she was married to an Indian man ( he passed away few years ago) and she used to wear sari many times. She said: " you look so much like me when I was young" ~ I felt my heart going to her as there was so much love in her eyes when she told me about her beloved husband;
In that moment I felt LOVE has no borders and it doesn't for many of us. As you well know my husband is Egyptian and this lady's brother in law is from Egypt , so they were happilly discussing in their language all long evening.
Thank you again for this beautiful gift and I promisse to share with you all another photo wearing the other " dream sari" on Xmas day.
