"Why do so many people seem to like Twitter?

Simplicity has played an important role in Twitter's success. People are eager to connect with other people and Twitter makes that simple. Twitter asks one question, "What are you doing?" Answers must be under 140 characters in length and can be sent via mobile texting, instant message, or the web.

I joined, then never did anything with it. It seemed confusing...or is that just me? You're saying it's easy, but I just couldn't make sense of it.

All you do is post updates about what you are doing on there... The more people you connect with the further your social reach is.

In terms of being a gather user we can benefit from it by posting the links to the things we share on here, then our friends can stop by our posts and you'll generate more traffic.
