What are your plans for weekend?

It will be a good weekend with lots to do - going to a concert tonight - going to a party tomorrow and getting a tree and decorating for Christmas in between. No I'm off to get my hair done.

Finish Christmas cards. My husband informed me lastnight that a bunch of our friends want to come down to our house this weekend. Yay. They are all so weird. Maybe I can hide out upstairs with my daughter and spend some time with her.

I'm Santa Claus this afternoon, 11:30 am to 4:30 pm. You can visit Santa on the Washington County (IL) Courthouse Square at the Santa House today. After that, I join Pat at the Community Center of Nashville's Christmas Craft Show where we will offer used books, gift baskets and coffee and tea mixes. Not a lot of any of it and what doesn't sell (I wouldn't be surprised if none of it sells) becomes our Christmas presents. A win-win situation. I also need to bring Pat some din-dins. Tomorrow, I think we're largely in the clear (though I think I'm overlooking something) so Saturday and Sunday I'll be able to work on eBay. By the way, I'm doing an interview with Dr. Elmo (Grandma Got Run over By a Reindeer) a week from Monday (Dec 15) for my radio magazine show. I helped play Grandma 310 times in a row on the radio when I was in college.

Wow, you are Santa, Nick? Hope you will have fun with those little ones

You're not late putting up the Christmas tree, we just got ours up last night. It's my first fake tree, and while I didn't think I was going to like it, I have to admit not having to deal with the lights separately was awesome. I just sort of took it out and plugged it in.

We(meaning I) also decorated the majority of it last night. I still have a few boxes from storage to get out, but in usual form, the light in our storage area burned out during the 10 minutes that I needed it last night, so I need to fix that before it gets dark today.

I'm also going to try and finish up the rest of my Christmas shopping. Now that the tree is up, I'm more in the mood, so I have a few more presents to buy, as well as my boyfriend's birthday present(his b-day is Dec. 15th).

Other than that, now that I finally feel better(still not sure what cold/flu thing I had, but I baffled my doctor for a while), I'll clean the house and do a major grocery shopping trip. Should I have any energy after all that, I'll bake some cookies. :)

Alexis, I am glad yu are feeling better, now you will be able to do the rest of the shopping. I am about to done, only need two more presents for in-laws, but hubby have to tell me what they need, want. Hope you have a great weekend

I probably will do some Christmas decorating. I also plan to work at the local history museum and probably will watch a video, maybe make some Christmas cookies if I get ambitious.

I just had my 2 days off, so today is my Monday....lol Mostly done decorating, need to start wrapping, just going to do a bit of baking next week.

I'm hoping I can make the trek to the other side of town and buy a blue poinsettia. Someone mentioned poinsettias the other day, and then I saw a commercial about a store that sold them. And they not only had red, white, and pink poinsettias, but also purple, blue and yellow. I can't pass up the chance to own a real blue poinsettia! I guess they had to go to a lot of trouble to make plants with those colors.

No plans yet, but we might go visit my friend who lives 45 minutes north of us. Since Roshane is sick, and my husband sounds like he is getting sick, we might put it off to next weekend though.

My daughter is having 3 friends sleep over tonight for a birthday party. Tomorrow evening, the kids and I will probably watch a couple of movies. Sunday morning church (probably) and after that, I don't know. Maybe some craft projects or cooking. Was thinking about making some kind of "gifts in a jar" for them to share with teachers and other people in their lives. But I don't know if I have enough money to buy jars right now.

Ugghhh I still have baking to do and I have to get all the Christmas stuff out. And I probably have to work tomorrow.

I just plan on relaxing.

Me and the kids are going to go visit with my best girlfriend and her little boy on Saturday. They are about 20 minutes away in the next town over.

If the kids are cooperating I want to take them to see Santa. My little boy won't want to even get close to Santa, but my daughter will.

Next weekend will still be fine to do the tree. December shouldn't be this darn cold already. Supplies are ready, so will definately turn off Gather to bake some cookies. The maid must have went to Cancun, so laundry, mop, clean, shop, cook in between. And keep the radio off if Nick is in the mood to play Grandma again!

I will be out Christmas shopping all day tomorrow! Sunday morning, I will take my mom to Church. Sunday afternoon, is family gingerbread house decorating! We do it every year!

Nothing much going on with me this weekend

My only plans, other that cleaning house, are to make 1 more trip to K-mart, get caught up on Gather, and take the children to the Christmas parade.

Weekends are the same as weekdays for me, so there is no real change.

I just took did some stuff around the house and made my list for my baking supplies as well.

I have to do stuff around the house and bake.
