Write like eating a pomegranate.
Break open the heavy fruit.
Allow the floral scent
to tickle your nose.
Note, the seeds,
deep garnet fruits of the mind,
resting in the pith.
Pluck the juicy bits from their bed.
Roll them on your tongue--
to be pricked, juiced, nibbled and savored,
the pulp--stripped between your teeth,
until only the seeds remain.
